Zoning FAQ
I'm trying to buy a house on the Waunakee Airport and build a hangar. How far away does it need to be from the runway?
Review the municipal codes above. In a nutshell, the rules are:
- North and West Side (Winston Way) - 75 feet from airport property line
- South Side (Woodland Drive) - 100 feet from airport property line
- Exception: the three parcels west of the runway - 170 feet of the rear property line of these parcels
Please review the village municipal codes for specific details.
